Caring for Your New Frenchie

Before bringing home your puppy, make sure your house is puppy proof and you have the supplies you need.
  • Proper outdoor fencing;
  • Baby gates to prevent entry to dangerous areas of your home;
  • Kennel for when you can't supervise your new puppy;
  • A balanced puppy kibble;
  • Stay up to date on your puppy's shots and heartworm prevention;
  • Puppies explore with their mouths and chew everything so make sure any items that could hurt your new puppy are kept out of reach;
  • Frenchies are heat and cold intolerant so be prepared to limit outdoor time in temps above 85 degrees and/or below 50 degrees;
  • Ear and wrinkle care products are a good idea as your puppy ages;
  • A good set of pet nail clippers;
  • And, plenty of chew toys to keep your new puppy happy and occupied!
